James L. Walker, Jr. serves as managing partner of Walker and Associates, LLP, a leading entertainment law firm in Atlanta, GA. Walker started his first business, Stillwater Productions, a concert promotion and artist management company, over 20 years ago. After gaining legal experience, he built up a small team and started Walker and Associates, LLP. His practice consists of the representation of corporations, on-air radio/TV talent, musicians, artists, filmmakers, athletes and real estate, and has within the past 15 years represented clients such as Jamie Foxx, Donald Lawrence, Yolanda Adams, among others including negotiations for the book deals of journalist and scholar Dr. Barbara Reynolds for the autobiography of Coretta Scott King, and rapper/actor DMX.
